It’s a pretty huge place, but still not so large that it would take long to explore it. In all, the structure is 189 blocks by 156 blocks by 48 blocks. The inside isn’t exactly the same though, since this was built for a specific server a long time ago. Walking around in this computerize Coliseum is more or less like walking through the real thing, though the actual Coliseum is a bit more damaged from age, wear and tear. On an interesting note, the size and scale of the Romecraft Colosseum are supposed to be at a ratio of 1:1. To get the most out of this map you really have to play it with other people – it’s just a bunch of wasted space if there’s no PVP happening. This is little more than a flat plane of sand where fighters will duel to the death, though they don’t necessarily need to kill each other. Just like the real Coliseum in Rome, this one is arranged in a circle with all the seats facing towards the center, or the stage. Fans of the Gladiator movie or ancient Rome in general will probably love the Romecraft Colosseum map, which brings the large fighting arena from history into Minecraft.
